Penny McGhee – Offce Manager
Most of my working years have been office based. I started out in a Sales Office, then progressing to Import/Export and Head of Administration/PA to the Managing Director of a small media company. I Worked in the local NHS General Hospital as a PA to one of the General Managers then management of a team of medical secretaries and the Next of Kin Office. I really enjoyed working with people in the hospital setting and began to develop an interest in patient problem solving. Then I was appointed as one of the Hospital’s complaints Managers, although stressful, this was an extremely rewarding role. Years later, after moving to Spain to have a more relaxed lifestyle, for eleven years I worked in the UK for a few months every year. With my life experiences I feel have equipped me well for my new role as Office Manager with Help at HomeCB. I’m very excited to be part of this organisation and hope to assist the charity in its quest to help as many people as possible here in Spain .
