There are stalls offering a wide variety of arts and crafts and the poster says it all.

Farewell Angel Joan

It is with a heavy heart we write to tell you about our loss of an Angel in Joan Waddington our team leader in our Quesada branch of Help at Home Costa Blanca.
It is with deep sadness that we all said goodbye to Joan Waddington who passed away on October 3rd after a ten month battle with her illness. Joan was supported by her loving family and friends throughout.
Her funeral was held at Rojales Crematorium on October 6th and guests attended afternoon tea after the service at The Pines Restaurant in Benijofar. A collection was held for Help at Home.
Joan started the Quesada branch of Help at Home (Costa Blanca) in 2013 and remained at the helm as the Coordinator until her illness. With the help of her team of volunteers Joan ensured support to many in her wider community with her unfailing energy and generosity of spirit.
The charity offers a little short term free help in the home to those who may need support when struggling, possibly following a hospital stay, illness or loss of a partner.
Joan was delighted when three ladies decided to complete a Santiago de Compostela walk and donate their sponsorship funds to Help at Home.
More recently she enjoyed an afternoon tea with her Quesada group of volunteers.
She will be remembered with love by all who knew her.
There is another angel in heaven now.
With our love and sorrow from everyone at Help at Home Costa Blanca.

Fundraising events near you

Hi all

We have another fair we need to tell you about for 24th September and 9  October .

These will be held at different venues to move into different catchment areas so we can reach as many people as possible.

At the moment we rely heavily on people who live here as so many people are not travelling due to the UK 14 day quarantine when they return from Spain.

We really hope you can come along and but a few items from the stall holders which will in turn raise money for our Charity to  assist our clients in need, every cent helps.

There are signs , hand sanitiser on entry , limited number of customers and protective screen , masks and gloves for  our volunteers.

Mask wearing in the shop is mandatory as they will not be much room for 2 metre social distancing.

All our customers were respectful when we opened today and we are hopeful we can start to raise money to pay all the invoices we have accrued during lock down.
